What are discount rewards?
The discount rewards allow you to provide customers with vouchers that they can redeem against any item in your store.
LoyaltyLion offers Flat and Percentage discount rewards. Please note that when setting up the flat and percentage vouchers, you can set a minimum spend, but once this has been applied the amount cannot be changed.
We don't allow a collection restriction on our regular discount rewards. If you would like to create rewards with a collection restriction, see the following article:
Types of discount rewards:
This reward gives customers a set amount of money discounted from their orders. Setting various flat discount rewards can be a great way to improve customer engagement.
Flat discount rewards are our most popular reward. Research states 71% of consumers decide to join a loyalty program because of flat discounts on every purchase.
This reward gives your customer a discount on a percentage of their basket total. Setting a percentage discount is a great way to improve customer engagement and increase your average order value!
How to set up a discount reward
1. Login to your LoyaltyLion account
2. Click on the tab Manage
3. On the left find Rewards and click on Create new reward
4. Find Discount
5. Select the type of discount you want to create - flat or percentage
6. Amend the details of the reward in the details section
7. Hit create reward and you're finished!
We generally suggest setting your flat discount rewards without a minimum spend. This way your customers will be encouraged to come back and make their second purchase in your store.
If setting a minimum spend with your percentage discounts, setting one higher than your current AOV is a great way to increase your average order value!
Claiming the Reward
The customer would need to navigate to your Loyalty Page and find your collection reward from the Rewards section of the page.

Q. Can I adjust the settings for my discount reward?
You cannot change the points needed for the reward, discount amount, collection, or minimum spend, once the reward is live.
If you would like to offer a reward with different details, you can look up any existing rewards from the "Manage codes" tab andrefund the existing reward for each customer. Then, delete the reward and create a new one.
