What is a collection discount?
Our Collection discount works as any Money off or Percentage off voucher, however, the discount is applied only for the items from the selected collection.
In order for the customer to get the discount, they need to claim it in the loyalty panel and then redeem it in the checkout. To make it easier, the reward button has a "view collection" hyperlink that redirects your customers to the collection.
This reward gives you the option to give money off for products in the entire collection - it is a great way to manage your inventory and promote a new collection!
How to create a collection discount?
Login to your LoyaltyLion account
Go to Program > Rewards
Click Create reward in the top right
Choose either Collection fixed discount or Collection percentage discount.
5. Select the collection you would like to discount:
6. Then, make changes to the reward settings and enable features that suit your needs. You will need to choose a cost in points and your preferred discount amount.
You can also:
Add an expiration period
Add a customer redemption limit
Add a reward inventory
Customise the reward display
Add a custom prefix
Add a minimum purchase requirement
Configure discount combinations
Note: A minimum spend will only apply to items purchased from the specific collection, i.e., in order to qualify for this discount, a customer must meet the minimum spend set for items from this specific collection
6. Click on the button Create to save the changes and create the new reward.
Reward expiration
Adding an expiration to a reward can add urgency, encouraging additional purchases. Learn more about how to set this up
Claiming the Reward
The customer would need to navigate to your Loyalty Page and find your collection reward from the Rewards section of the page.
