Why LoyaltyLion and Loox?

Loox is a photo reviews app that empowers Shopify merchants to collect tons of visual reviews from happy customers and create elegant online stores shoppers can trust. How to integrate LoyaltyLion with Loox ?

1. Login to your LoyaltyLion account

2. Click on the tab Manage

3. On the left find Integrations and click Manage 

4. Find Loox on the list and click Install Integration button

5. You’ll get redirected to your store’s site. Please follow the steps to finish setting up.

6. If the configuration went correctly you should see this message after clicking on Configure Integration button:

All that is left to do is to setup the activity rule so that your customers can start earning points for leaving reviews! 

How to setup Loox product review?

1. Login to your LoyaltyLion account
2. Click on the tab Manage

3. On the left find Activity rules and click Create new rule

4. Find Leave a review via Loox 

5. Amend the options and click Create rule to save.

Note: The Loox Rule is designed not to be capped. If you see "Only give points 0 times per day", everything is set correctly.  

6. Next time if you wish to change settings you can do it by clicking the Edit button next to the Loox rule

How do customers receive points for reviews?

After making a purchase your customers will receive an email from Loox asking them about their experience with your product. In order to write a successful review and receive points for it, your customers need to click on the Write a review button and add a photo of the product.

To increase the number of reviews using LoyaltyLion and Loox, add a line to your email notifying your customers about the points they will receive for leaving a review. 

E.g. Thank you for shopping with us, leave a review and earn 500 points.


Q. My customer left a review but did not receive points for it. Could you assist?
Loox specializes in photo reviews, that help merchants gain more User Generated Content. This is why our integration was built around rewarding photo reviews. If your customer has left a review, but did not upload a photo with it, they would not be rewarded points.

The customer also needs to leave the review by following the post-purchase email.

However, if the customer left a picture with a review, please reach out to support@loyaltylion.com and let us know the customer's email address, so we can investigate this further for you :)
