Utilising EcoCart and LoyaltyLion, you can focus on sustainability throughout the customer journey. By incentivising the options of a carbon-neutral checkout, you can show your customers that your brand is eco-conscious, and promote your customers to do the same.
How does the EcoCart integration work?
EcoCart creates a carbon-neutral product within your Shopify store once it is installed. Once you have this product, you can create a rule specifically for when this product is purchased, to offer bonus points on the customer's order.
This works great with other eco-initiatives, shows sustainable practices, and gives your customers a little extra for choosing a carbon-neutral checkout rather than the standard.
How to integrate EcoCart with LoyaltyLion
EcoCart will automatically create the Carbon-Neutral Order product in your Shopify store for you. This will need to be present prior to these steps in LoyaltyLion.
1. Login to your LoyaltyLion account.
2. Click on the tab Manage.
3. On the left find Activity rules and click Create new rule.
4. From here, click on Purchase a specific product.

For EcoCart, you will need to enter the Product ID of the Carbon Neutral Order product
6. When you are happy with the bonus points provided per item, you can click Create Rule to save.
