How does the Recurate integration work?
Pre-loved items are tagged and added to a collection in Shopify, by Recurate. You can then create a rule that awards extra points on all items in that collection, incentivizing your customers to shop pre-loved.
This works well alongside other eco-initiatives, shows sustainable practices, and gives your customers a little extra for buying something used over a new product.
How to integrate LoyaltyLion and Recurate
Adding the tags to items, and adding those items to a collection, is handled inside the Recurate platform and appears in Shopify. After setting up Recurate, set up the following in LoyaltyLion:
Log in to your LoyaltyLion account
Click the Manage tab
On the left, find Activity rules and click Create new rule
Click Purchase from a specific collection
Enter the Collection ID for the used items Recurate has tagged
When you are happy with the bonus points awarded per item, click Create Rule to save
