You have the ability to refund unused customer rewards. This feature is especially useful when a customer claims a reward by mistake or changes their mind on the claimed reward. Once the reward is refunded, we give the points back to the customer.
How to refund single rewards
Log into your LoyaltyLion Dashboard
Go to Customers
Search for the customer and click on their profile
You can find and refund the reward in two ways:
On the Timeline tab, find the reward you would like to refund, and press the Refund button
On the Rewards tab, find the reward you would like to refund, press the action menu button [
...], and then Refund
A modal will appear to ask to confirm the refund of the reward - select OK

βYou will see a confirmation message that the reward has been refunded, and the points have been added back onto the customer's account
In the customer's rewards list, the reward will now show as Void
The customer will also see the reward marked as Void on their history table
How to bulk refund rewards
In some occasions you may need to bulk refund unused rewards, for example, if you're making any changes to the cost of rewards, you may want to refund all the old rewards, so the points can be added back onto the customer's account for them to claim the new rewards. Also, if you enable discount combination settings, the rewards claimed prior will not have the discount combination setting applied, so you may want to refund these rewards and allow customers to redeem new ones.

We can also bulk refund specific rewards, so if you don't want all the unused rewards refunded, we can target the ones you do, just let us know.
