Your Small Business plan gives you everything you need to build, launch, and run a points-based loyalty program, and you can add individual paid features as your program grows. This article walks through each area of LoyaltyLion so you know where to find things and what your plan includes.
In this article:
Reviewing your program's performance
LoyaltyLion reports on your program across three areas, each with its own page in the left-hand menu.
Dashboard
The Dashboard is your starting point. It summarizes how your program is performing, including program members, points earned and spent, and rewards claimed.
Analytics
Analytics breaks your program down by area, with separate pages for Performance, Orders, Referrals, and Notifications. This is where you go to see how a specific part of your program is doing rather than the program as a whole.
Insights, which groups your shoppers by how they engage with your program, is included on Classic plans and above. To add it, contact our Support team at support@loyaltylion.com.
Customers
The Customers page lists everyone in your program and what they have done. Open a customer to see their points balance, the rewards they have claimed, and their order history. You can also give or remove points and block a customer from the program.
Loyalty emails
You can send loyalty emails directly from LoyaltyLion, and edit the content, design, and send settings of each one. Three are available on your plan:
Welcome to the loyalty program, sent when a customer joins.
Reward available reminder, sent when a customer has enough points to claim something.
Monthly reward reminder, a monthly statement of their points balance.
These emails re-engage customers who have gone quiet and prompt guests to create an account.
A fourth email, points expiring soon, is not included on your plan. You can add point expiry as a paid add-on, so contact our Support team at support@loyaltylion.com for pricing.
Building your program
The Program menu is where you build what your customers can earn and what they can spend their points on.
Rules
Rules are the actions your customers complete to earn points, such as placing an order, creating an account, or leaving a review. Setting up your rules is a good place to start.

Rewards
Rewards are what your customers redeem their points for. Your plan includes money off vouchers, percentage discounts, free shipping, free products, Shopify gift cards, discounts on a specific product or collection, and custom rewards you define yourself.
What your customers see
The Display menu controls how your loyalty program looks on your storefront.
Loyalty widget
The loyalty widget is the main way your customers reach your program. You can customize how it looks, and keep, edit, or replace our default FAQ template so your customers know what to expect. Your plan also includes the HTML and CSS editors for the widget and panel, translation overrides so you can change any text or add your own language, and the option to remove LoyaltyLion branding.
An integrated loyalty page, a full page on your store rather than a pop-up panel, and the LoyaltyLion Theme Editor that builds it, are included on Classic plans and above. To move up, contact our Support team at support@loyaltylion.com.
Notifications
On-site notifications prompt new, guest, and existing customers toward your program as they browse your store.
Three enhanced notifications, the post-purchase guest sign-up and refer-a-friend prompts and the redeem rewards prompt, are included on Plus plans. Contact our Support team at support@loyaltylion.com for pricing.
Integrations
Connecting LoyaltyLion to the other apps you run lets you award points for activity that happens outside your store and send loyalty data into your marketing tools.
Your plan lets you connect:
Loox and Stamped.io, to award points for reviews.
Any other review platform, using our general Reviews rule.
SMSBump, for SMS marketing.
LimeSpot, for personalization.
Shopify POS, to award points for in-store purchases.
The email and customer platforms, including Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Omnisend, Dotdigital, Ometria, HubSpot, and Zendesk, plus Recharge for subscriptions, are included on Classic plans and above.
Some integrations carry a separate cost or need a plan upgrade. Contact our Support team at support@loyaltylion.com to find out what you can add.

FAQ
How do I add a feature that is not on my plan?
Your Small Business plan is built so you can add individual paid features rather than committing to a higher plan. Some features work that way, and others need a plan upgrade. Contact our Support team at support@loyaltylion.com and they will tell you which applies and what it costs.
Can I use loyalty tiers on my plan?
Tiers are included on Advanced and Plus plans, so they are not available on your plan. Contact our Support team if you would like to move up.
Who can I contact for help with my program?
Your plan includes email support, so you can reach our Support team at support@loyaltylion.com or through the in-app chat. Beyond that, the help available depends on your plan:
Small Business plans have our Support team only.
Classic and Advanced plans add an onboarding manager, and can request a program review from a customer success manager once every 6 months.
Plus plans add a dedicated customer success manager.
Where can I see everything each plan includes?
Our pricing page carries the full comparison and is the most up to date place to check. Related: LoyaltyLion pricing
