Checkout extensions are for Shopify stores that use Shopify checkout extensibility. Redeem at checkout also needs Shopify Plus and the LoyaltyLion Classic plan or above.

Overview
Checkout extensions are LoyaltyLion blocks you add to your Shopify checkout and thank-you page, so your customers see your loyalty program as they buy. Redeem at checkout sits in the checkout itself. The other extensions sit on the thank-you page your customers see after they pay.
LoyaltyLion also has blocks for your Shopify customer accounts, which you add in the same way.
The checkout extensions
Redeem at checkout
Redeem at checkout lets your customers redeem their points for a discount directly in the checkout.
Points earned
Points earned shows on the thank-you page and tells your customers how many points they earned on their purchase.
For customers who aren't members yet, it shows the points they could have earned and invites them to join.
Points earned shows the points from your Make a purchase rule for that order. It doesn't include points from Product or Collection rules.
Refer a friend
Refer a friend shows members their referral link on the thank-you page, so they can share it with friends and family straight after a purchase. It's available when your program has a refer-a-friend rule.
Join the program
Join the program invites customers to join your loyalty program from the thank-you page. It's only available when your program uses manual opt-in, because with automatic enrollment your customers join without it.
Loyalty pass
Loyalty pass prompts your customers to add their loyalty pass to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet right after they buy. It needs the Loyalty Pass add-on. Without it, the card in LoyaltyLion shows Requires Loyalty Pass.
Adding checkout extensions
You add checkout extensions in Shopify's checkout editor. The quickest way there is from LoyaltyLion.
In LoyaltyLion, go to Display > Store components.
In the checkout extensions section, click Set up on the extension you want. This opens Shopify's checkout editor, with the LoyaltyLion apps listed on the left.
Click the (+) icon next to the app to add it to its default position. A tick appears next to the app once it's added.
Click Save. The extension now shows on your checkout or thank-you page.
If you don't click Save, the extensions aren't added to your checkout.
Adding checkout extensions from Shopify
You can also add them straight from your Shopify admin. Go to Sales channels > Online Store > Customize, and in the drop-down at the top, select Checkout and Customer Accounts. Click Apps to see all the LoyaltyLion apps, and use the (+) icon to add them.
FAQ
Can I change the text in my checkout extensions?
Yes. Go to Display > Languages & text, where you change the text like any other text in your loyalty program. The thank-you page extensions are on the Extensions tab, and Redeem at checkout is on the Rewards tab.
Why can't I see Redeem at checkout?
Redeem at checkout needs Shopify Plus and the LoyaltyLion Classic plan or above. If your store has both and you still can't see it, contact support@loyaltylion.com.
Why can't I see Join the program?
Join the program only shows when your program uses manual opt-in. With automatic enrollment, your customers join without it, and Points earned already invites guests to join.
