How to Integrate LoyaltyLion with Tapcart?
To enable the integration, you’ll need active accounts on both platforms. Then:
In LoyaltyLion, go to Manage > API keys
Create a new API key with all permissions enabled
Copy and store the API token securely (you won’t be able to view it again)
Also note your site_id (it appears in your LoyaltyLion URL, e.g. it's the number after
/sites/)
In Tapcart, go to the Integrations section and find “LoyaltyLion Rewards”
Click Connect
In the Tapcart dashboard, enter your LoyaltyLion API Key and site_id in the corresponding fields
Click Save & Enable
Setting up the loyalty experience with Tapcart?
Once LoyaltyLion is connected in Tapcart, you’ll build the customer-facing experience using Tapcart’s App Studio.

Rules (ways to earn points):
Customers can earn points for various actions, including:
Placing orders
Creating an account
Celebrations (birthday, anniversary)
Downloading the app
Enabling push notifications
And any other custom actions you configure
In the Ways to Earn block, you can reorder or hide earning options. If you add new earning actions and they don't automatically appear in Tapcart, use the “Reset” button in the loyalty settings to pull in fresh updates, then reapply custom ordering or visibility as needed.
