Languages we support

During the setup process of your loyalty program, you can select one of our 7 languages for your loyalty program. We currently provide the choice of the following languages:

  • Dutch

  • English

  • French

  • German

  • Italian

  • Spanish

  • Swedish

How to change the on-site text

Do you want to change "points" to "coins" or "bucks"? Or maybe you want to translate your program to a completely new language?

Your loyalty program is fully customisable. You can translate the text manually to your chosen language or amend only certain bits of it in the Languages tab.

❗ ❗ ❗IMPORTANT❗ ❗ ❗

Changing the language is an advanced feature, so be sure to read the instructions below carefully before you change any translations.

From time to time we will add additional translations for new features. When we do this, we'll send you an email to let you know so you can come back here and customize them if you need to. By default, new translations will show up on your store in your current language.

Instructions

Variables

Some translations contain variables, like %{smart_count}. These will be replaced, usually with a number, when the translation is used. DO NOT TRANSLATE the variable, it needs to be left in English.

E.g. %{smart_count} points will become 10 points

Plurals

Some translations are plurals and contain four pipes: ||||. This is used to provide multiple translations for different pluralisations. The first translation (before the pipes) will be used when the number is 0 or 1, and the second will be used in all other cases.

HTML

Some translations contain some basic HTML, which must be left intact or it may break the display of your loyalty components. If you are not comfortable editing HTML, we recommend you skip these translations.

Examples

Please see some great examples of how our merchants have customised the text of their loyalty program here.
