Stop orders with a specific tag from earning points

This feature is only available on Shopify, but is available on all plan levels.

There may be some orders on your site that you do not want to accrue points, be it due to a non-standard sales channel, like wholesale sales, or due to a third party returns platform.

All orders from your Shopify platform will naturally flow through LoyaltyLion and earn points based on your Make a Purchase activity rule settings.

If you wish for certain orders to be ignored, you can add the Order Tag to your LoyaltyLion platform. You can do this by going to Manage, and then Program Settings. Find the Orders section, which will look like this:

You can enter as many tags as you like, as long as they are comma-separated, and all orders that contain any of the listed tags will not gain any points from that order. This will take into effect any Points Modifiers, Product or Collection rules that are currently in your LoyaltyLion program as well.
