Overview
LoyaltyLion works with Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce) through our extension, which gives us API access to your store. We use that access to track orders and to create voucher codes for your rewards and referrals. We still support Magento 1 stores, although Adobe ended support for Magento 1 in 2020.

Why can't I turn on auto top up for my rewards?
If you see "Auto top-up Failed due to an issue with Magento API", we've lost our connection to your Magento store. To reconnect:
In your Magento admin, go to System, then Extensions, then Integrations.
Find LoyaltyLion, click Reauthorize, and click Reauthorize again in the side panel.
Wait for the confirmation that LoyaltyLion has reconnected.
In LoyaltyLion, go to Program, then Rewards, open the actions menu next to your reward, and click Add codes.
Click Save auto top up options. You'll see "Auto top up options have been updated".
Why can't customers use their referral voucher at checkout?
If your customers see this error, the usage limits on your referral price rule in Magento may have been changed:
In your Magento admin, go to Marketing, then Cart Price Rules, and open the LoyaltyLion referral rule, which is named like "[LoyaltyLion] Referrals flat - 15". Check that Uses per Coupon is 5 and Uses per Customer is 1.

Why does /api/rest on my store show a 404 error?
This affects Magento 1 stores, and usually means your .htaccess file sends API requests to the wrong place. See Magento 1: when we can't reach your store for the rules your .htaccess needs.
Why do referrals show "Sorry something went wrong" instead of a voucher code?
When a referred customer opens a referral link, we create their voucher code on a cart price rule that we set up in your Magento store, under Marketing, then Cart Price Rules. If that rule's settings are changed in Magento, we can't create codes on it.
Don't change the LoyaltyLion referral rule in Magento. We manage its settings, and changing them stops referral vouchers working.
If the rule has been changed, delete it in Magento, then have us create a new one:
In LoyaltyLion, go to Program, then Rules.
Click Edit on your referral rule.
Change one of the referral settings and save. We create a new referral rule in Magento.
Why can some customers not use their voucher codes?
Check that the customers are in a Magento customer group that the voucher's cart price rule applies to. You can change which groups a rule applies to in your Magento admin.
