Overview

Post purchase extensions enable you to integrate loyalty-specific features into your Thank you pages seamlessly. Incorporating post purchase apps can boost customer engagement with your loyalty program, encourage enrolment, and drive loyalty-specific activities. Embedding loyalty content into the thank you page enhances the overall performance of your program and promotes greater customer adoption.

You can add the following apps to your thank you page

Refer a friend

Customer can access their referral link after making a purchase to share with friends or family on the Thank You page.


Points earned

The Points earned app lets customers know exactly how many points they earned on a purchase. This app should be added to the Thank You page to increase the program's visibility and benefits.

The app will inform the customer of the program and prompt enrollment for guest checkouts.

Enabling post purchase apps:

Two ways you can enable your checkout apps.

The first and simplest way is to head to your On-site Content section in the LoyaltyLion admin. Manage > On-site content and click the Setup button:

This will deep link you to your Shopify Checkout Editor. Where you will see the list of checkout apps on the left-hand side:

Clicking the (+) icon will add the app to the default position within your checkout pages. Once you have added the app, you will see a tick icon appear:

And you're all set!

The second approach would be to go directly through Shopify. Head to your Shopify store, head to Sales channel > Online store > Customise > In the drop-down, select Checkout and Customer Accounts > Apps. Here, you will see our full list of apps, and you can use the (+) icon to add to your checkout or customer account experiences.

Yes, you can customize your post purchase apps like you customise any of your loyalty program strings within the Languages section of the admin.
