Overview
Loyalty Pass analytics shows how your Loyalty Pass is doing over any date range you choose: how many of your customers have it in their wallets, how many added it, and how many push notifications we sent them.
Where to find Loyalty Pass analytics
There are two ways to open Loyalty Pass analytics:
In LoyaltyLion, go to Analytics, and then Loyalty pass.
On the Loyalty pass page, click View analytics, next to the Performance figures.
Loyalty Pass analytics appears once you've published your Loyalty Pass. It's available to the same team members who can manage your Loyalty Pass. If you run more than one store, it's on your primary store, where your Loyalty Pass is set up.
What each figure means
Choose a date range at the top of Loyalty Pass analytics, and each card shows its figure for that range, with a chart below. The chart groups your figures by day, week or month, depending on how long the range is.
Loyalty Pass analytics shows these 3 figures:
Total active passes, the passes in your customers' wallets at the end of the range. The chart shows the count at the end of each day, and the trend compares it with the count at the start of the range.
Passes added, the passes your customers added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet during the range, including ones they've since removed. The chart splits them by wallet.
Pushes sent, the push notifications we sent to your pass holders during the range. The chart splits them by notification, such as Points expiring or Reward expiring.
The trends on Passes added and Pushes sent compare your range with the period of the same length just before it.
Location notifications aren't counted in Pushes sent:
Notifications that show your pass on the lock screen near one of your stores are triggered by your customer's phone, not sent by us, so Pushes sent doesn't include them.
Figures on the Loyalty pass page
The Performance section of the Loyalty pass page shows the same 3 figures for the last 30 days, alongside your Adoption rate.
Adoption rate is the share of all your members who got their first pass in the last 30 days and still have one. A member with both an Apple and a Google pass counts once.
FAQ
Why is Total active passes higher than Passes added?
Passes added only counts passes added during your date range. Total active passes counts every pass in your customers' wallets at the end of it, including passes they added before the range started.
Does a customer with an Apple and a Google pass count twice?
In Total active passes and Passes added, yes, because each pass is counted. In Adoption rate on the Loyalty pass page, no: each member counts once.
Why are there no figures before a certain date?
Loyalty Pass analytics starts from the day your Loyalty Pass was set up. If your date range reaches back further, the figures cover only the days since then.
Can I download the data behind these figures?
Yes. Go to Analytics, then Exports, and download a Loyalty Pass export.
