If a reward was used on a purchase and the purchase was then refunded are the points returned to the customer

If a customer placed an order and redeemed 200 points on the order when making the purchase and then cancelled their order would the 200 points the customer redeemed on the order get refunded back onto their account?

A. Currently no, you as the merchant will need to manually add the points back onto the members account in LL by searching the member > clicking on 'Give points'. 

Once Shopify release their pricing API in May we will be implementing reward refunds.
